Mark is married to Ailsa (that’s Ailsa, not Alisa, Alison, etc) and they have three sons, Jonah, Zach and Nathan

Mark is originally from Manchester, he studied Theology at Nottingham University and has worked as a teacher in Birmingham.  He likes deep discussions, fresh orange juice, pretending he’s good at football and making his children laugh.

Before coming to Hammersmith, Mark trained at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, and completed a three year curacy at St Mary’s Addiscombe in Croydon.  Mark helps to run the Breathe Christian network for simpler living (www.ibreathe.org.uk).  He has also written ‘4Life’ (Cell UK, 2006), a 4-part guide to growing as a follower of Jesus Christ.
