Matt and his wife Alice moved to West London in September 2008 to begin his work at the St Paul’s Centre.

Married just after Christmas 2007, they are really excited to be living in London for the first time. Prior to the move, Matt worked as a Special Needs Youth Worker in Nottinghamshire running Individual Education Programmes for pupils excluded from mainstream education. He also enjoyed his time at the University of Nottingham (2001-04) studying History & Politics before a leadership internship at Trent Vineyard Church in Nottingham (2005-07). He has undertaken an ongoing postgraduate course in Development Management since November 2007.

As an avid sportsman and sports fan, he loves his golf, squash and cricket whilst also proudly following Arsenal. His sporting ‘to-do-list’ includes having a second (and hopefully faster) attempt at the London Marathon and getting back on a snowboard sometime soon. He has travelled extensively and recently returned from taking his old football team on tour to Jordan.
