Over 170 children aged 0-11 regularly attend the SPARK (St Paul's Ark) groups on Sunday mornings. Our committed SPARK team provide a fun and lively environment where the children learn about God, pray together and are encouraged to develop their own special relationships with God and with other children.
The first 15 minutes of the 10.30am service is a time of all age worship, incorporating songs for children, many of which include actions to allow everyone to join in. After this the younger members of congregation leave the service to join groups with children of their own age.
The SPARK groups for under 5’s, meet in the back rooms of the church:
Baby Bears - 0 to crawling
Little Lambs - Crawling to 20 months
Tiny Tigers - 21 months to 3 years
Busy Bees - 3 & 4 years
The Tiny Tigers and Busy Bees learn Bible stories, sing songs and do craft activities.
The SPARK groups for school age children have a fun and lively atmosphere. The children enjoy various activities, including regular Praise Parties, to help them learn and grow in their faith.
