The Team
The Global Vision Team consists of a core team (some of whom are below) and a wider group of people who help with particular areas, or just take a general interest.  If you would like to get involved in the global dimension of St Pauls Church, let us know...
Mark Powley
Role: Global Vision Coordinator and Staff Contact
I am not the world’s greatest traveller, but I am passionate about many global issues and it’s a real privilege to be part of this team. I believe we as a church need to give excellent support and encouragement to those who work overseas. I’m also particularly concerned about issues of justice and lifestyle, and I help to run Breathe, a Christian network for simpler living (www.ibreathe.org.uk)
Sarah Powley
Role: Events coordinator
I love to travel and have visited Borneo, Peru, Cuba, Australia, Costa Rica and Brazil over the last few years incorporating the traveling with trekking, cycling and white water rafting. I have a particular interest in Brazil where I spent three weeks with a team from St Pauls in August 2004 at Rainbow Farm and now head up the Rainbow Farm charity in the UK which aims to provide orphaned and abandoned children with a safe home and refuge.
Helen Parry
Role: Coordinator of the "personnel team": helping people who are thinking of working abroad, and keeping in touch with them while away.
I worked in Africa for nearly 25 years, teaching English at 5 universities where my husband, Eldryd, was training doctors. This gave me a deep love of Africa; but also a conviction that the church in the West should be far more committed to the church overseas and to the redress of the world's terrible inequalities. Eldryd founded, and is Chairman of, THET, the Tropical health and Educuation Trust. we have four children and three grandchildren.
