Intercessory Prayer

I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You, who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest. (Isaiah 62:6)

Intercessory prayer is a 24-hour continual position we take, standing in the gap for an issue, person or group until something happens. It is to pray in the spirits power without ceasing, even when continuing with our daily lives as Paul commends, ‘In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.’ (Romans 8:26)
