Our general service schedule is outlined below. We occasionally hold special services such as A cappella worship services and services for harvest festival and so on. We also run guest services every term which are ideal for coming along to in order to get a glimpse of what SPH is all about.
8.30 am Holy Communion
This is a traditional service of Holy Communion with silence and space for reflection. There is no music and we follow the pattern of the Book of Common Prayer. Typically the service lasts 40 minutes.
10.30am Family Worship
This is an informal service for the whole family. The sung worship is typically led by a band and combines the best of the traditional hymns and the newer worship songs. There are extensive crèche and Sunday School facilities for the children and a time of worship, a sermon and prayer ministry for the adults. Holy Communion is on the first Sunday of the month. Typically the service lasts an hour and a half.
6.00pm Evening Worship
This is an informal service with an extended time of sung worship typically led by a band. There is space for a more in-depth sermon, intercession and prayer ministry. Holy Communion is on the third Sunday of the month. Typically the service lasts for an hour and a half.
