Ruth Clewett writes The welcome I received at St Paul’s, not just the first time I visited, but each time I’ve been to church has been so friendly and sincere that I joined not long after I was first introduced. St Paul's is a great family to be part of and my life as a student at university is greatly enhanced by being a member of this church. After attending the Newcomer’s course in January, I was also able to join a life group which has been a big support to me over the last few months particularly and a real joy to be a part of.
Over the last year a real effort has been made to help students feel at home through life group, socials and the mentoring scheme which is hugely beneficial. In getting involved in helping with the children's Sunday school I have had the opportunity to serve in the church and that has been so rewarding! One of the ways I have been most impacted at St Paul’s is discovering its links with Rainbow Farm, a place in Brazil built to provide a home for abandoned and orphaned children. I was able to volunteer there this summer after my first year at uni and found it an amazing time of learning, serving and growth. This church is a wonderful place to worship God in praise and learning, by getting involved with serving and through spending time with loads of great people!
