Worship and Creative Arts
Welcome

Worship is one of our highest values here at St Paul's. Sung worship is found at the centre of all our church gatherings, be they sunday services, or mid-week small group meetings. Our aim as a worship team is to facilitate corporate worship in all of these settings, principally through the medium of music, but also through the creative arts.

Our worship values are based loosely on those devised by the Vineyard group of churches. We aim to faciliate a style of corporate worship that is accessible to those in our local community and within our church. We aim to foster an environment of intimacy with God in our times of worship, an expectation of encounter where we can seek His face, hear His voice and engage our hearts and minds fully with His. Finally, we aim to have integrity as a worship team and as a worshipping community, that our lives match our songs.

Our principal style of music is contemporary band led worship, but we also incorprate elements of other musical tradtions, particularly at the key seasons in the church calendar where we gather together a full choir, and orchestra to worship our God in style. As well as musicians, our worship team incorporates an audio-visual team who regularly serve our services and events.

Our passion is for true, deep, spirit filled worship, that rings out over our local community, our town, our city. We want to be a singing church that resounds with God's fame.
