CityYouth is the overriding vision for the Youth Work at St. Paul’s.
The vision of CityYouth is to raise up dynamic, urban, disciples who flourish in a city context. We want to see Young People shaped by God to shape the city.
What’s going on:
Express
Worship, talks, Bible study, small group time, food and chat for Year 7-9, during the morning service. We also host social events & Weekends away.
Deeper
Every Sunday before the evening service (16.30-17.45pm) we meet for worship, food chat and bible study in the Chapel or a local Starbucks! This group is for anyone in Year 10-13 who wants to go deeper with their faith.
The Bridge
Every Friday night we open up the St Paul’s Centre for a fun-filled evening of Pool, table tennis, Smoothies & Toasties, xbox, Wii, space to reflect and much more. From 18.45-19.45 it is open to anyone in Year 7-9, and from 20.00-21.00 Anyone in Year 10-13.
Express Girls
At different points in the term the girls from Express meet to have some ‘girly time.’ DVD’s, Bible Study, Food, chat, craft, and the odd sleepover feature heavily.Often hosted at one of the girl’s houses, we also have more centralised events- look out for details of the next event.
WOW
Once a month on a Wed we get together to explore how to better Worship our God- the evening is usually a workshop featuring teaching, Worship practice and alot of Pizza. Contact the Youth department for this term’s dates- it’s open to anyone with a heart for Worship and all are welcome to bring along their instruments.
