The Debt Advice Centre has been running since June 2001.  A team of trained volunteers provide confidential, free advice and practical assistance to anyone struggling with issues of debt.  So far the team have seen a steady number of clients and several of them are well on the road towards debt free living.  One client said after his first appointment:

“I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders and at last there is a light at the end of the tunnel”.
