Riverside Christian Centre is built into the Riverside Gardens estate, and stands besides Aspen Gardens and Ashcroft Square estates. It's ministries aim to be culturally relevant and sensitive to the needs of the community, with the goal of becoming a place where people’s spiritual, emotional and practical needs are met. Riverside aims to be a force for change in the local neighbourhood, a place where people come first and a place that communicates the love and acceptance of God and his son Jesus.

Riverside is a place where hospitality and an open invite to the community is key and many  regular events happen including; Monthly Community Dinners - an evening of food and entertainment, a Men’s Breakfast, a Sunday Lunch once a month and a lively, regular Saturday Fair where people are invited to bring and buy, to enjoy the café, to participate in the arts and crafts activities, or just to read the morning papers. Alongside these events, Riverside also hosts Film Nights, Arts Events, Children’s Activities, Creative Worship, Life Groups and prayer evenings for the community. So there is something for everyone.

Riverside is about being, being there for people. Building relationships and standing alongside others in their day to day lives. Sharing the burden of people’s struggles and hardships and celebrating people's joys and triumphs.
