Stretch 21 is Live!

On Sunday 14th October we had our Stretch 21 pledge day with the aim of raising £1m in donations and pledges. It was a great pleasure to announce shortly after that so far we have received pledges in excess of £1.6m! Over 400 people, from the youngest to the oldest, have made pledges,some for time and energy in fundraising, many for significant sums of money. This is by any account an extraordinary outpouring of generosity and an unequivocal sign of support for the project. People have swung behind what they believe God to be doing in a remarkable way. Thank you! Please keep praying, we still have a long way to go in terms of fundraising from external sources and there are a number of planning and funding hurdles to be crossed. We will keep you fully informed of progress along the way. It is massively encouraging to have made such a bold start. Praise God!
