St Paul's Hammersmith : Prayer

Central to our Cityshapers vision is to become a House of Prayer in and for the city. We hope to equip you to be able to pray wherever you find yourself in this great city. We want prayer to be central to workplaces, families, marriages, schools and neighbourhoods.

A good place to start in your prayer journey is to ask yourself the following questions: Where and how do I pray? Why do I pray in this way? Where does the city work against prayer? Where can I use the city to grow in prayer? And as Paul suggests begin to ‘pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.’ (Ephesians 6:18)

As a cityshaping community of praying people we are developing daily, weekly and monthly rhythms of intercessory, restorative and contemplative prayer that work with the flow of life in the city and help us to live prayerfully in all that we do.
