In Summer 2012 the world’s biggest sporting event comes to London. The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will bring millions of people to London and the UK for an incredible experience and we want to play our part in outreach, hospitality and service.

As the Olympic Flame enters the stadium, join us on Friday 27 July to watch the Opening Ceremony of the games on the Big Screen with drinks, nibbles and Olympic Torch ice creams.

Then get involved in Community Week from Monday 30 July - Friday 3 August everyday from 11am - 5pm. We are looking forward to various community events such as Children & Youth events, a 24/7 Prayer room, Community Transformation Projects, Healing on the Street teams and more.

Are you Mad about sport? Enjoy a quiz? On Friday 3 August at 7.30pm get your thinking hats on and join us for our Sports Quiz. This is a real chance to trounce the opposition with a fun quiz for you and all your friends. A meal with be served and there will be a short after dinner speech. Team registration opens in March 2012.

Throughout the Olympics our Sunday services will join together at 4pm on 29 July, 5 & 12 August to look at what it means to be Spiritually Fit. These big services will be a fantastic opportunity to bring friends and family.

On Sunday 5 August 10-4pm and prior to one of our joint services we will be having a Community Festival. Expect fun for all the family at our village fete style festival. Enjoy games, art, music, poems, face painting, performing arts and who knows what else!

As the Olympic Flame is extinguished, join us to watch the Closing Ceremony of the games on the Big Screen after church at 7.30pm on Sunday 12 August.
