Battlefield of the Mind - Joyce Meyer    Worry, doubt, confusion, depression, anger and feelings of condemnation - all of these are attacks on the mind.  In this book, Joyce Meyer shows you how to control the thousands of thoughts you have every day; helps you to recognise damaging thoughts that can influence your life; identifies the "wilderness mentalities" that hold us back; and demonstrates how to focus your mind to think the way Jesus thought.  Joyce shares the trials, tragedies and ultimate victories from her own marraige, family and ministry that have led her to amazing, life-transforming truth, and reveals her thoughts and feelings every step of the way.

'Captivating', subtitled 'Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul - John & Stasi Eldridge is the welcome new female counterpart of 'Wild at Heart'.  Those who are familiar with that book will be delighted to discover a similar unravelling of the basic nature God created in woman and how it fits into His plan for relationship between the sexes and our respective roles on earth.  How comforting to discover that the dreams and desires that we have harboured since our girlhood, to be appreciated and sought after, have a purpose.  Furthermore, they are valid expressions of created womanhood.  Stasi is disarmingly honest about her own experiences of life and this book will encourage women to live out their femininity freely in the way God intended.
