Michael Miller
Michael Miller is the founder and Senior Pastor of UPPERROOM. In April of 2010 Michael and his wife Lorisa started a small prayer meeting in an office space overlooking downtown Dallas. From that initial prayer meeting, God birthed a movement of prayer and worship that continues to grow globally. Many lives have been impacted by UPPERROOM's house of prayer, as people online and from all over the DFW metroplex come together to pray and worship every morning, noon and night. In addition to their work in Dallas, Michael and Lorisa travel internationally to support other UPPERROOM communities and houses of prayer in the U.S. and abroad. Michael has been in full time ministry since 2001, and lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Lorisa and their four beautiful children: Hannah, Salem, Freeland, and Truman.
We’re delighted to be hosting an interview with Michael Miller for a chance to dig deeper into some of what he’s been unpacking during his time with us this weekend.
Lazarus and Maggie Yeghnazar
Lazarus and Maggie Yeghnazar were born and raised in Iran and have served the Iranian Church their whole lives. In 1988, they felt the call of God to move their young family west. There, God gave them a prophetic mandate: to prepare the Iranian Church for a coming day when the nation would be open to the gospel. In 1991, they co-founded 222 Ministries (now Transform Iran) to disciple and equip leaders for ministry to Iran.
For more than three decades they have served together to train leaders to plant churches that aim to transform the nation of Iran. Through this ministry, and by the grace of God, churches have been established in 17 nations including hundreds of underground churches in Iran and seven in Afghanistan. More than 100,000 have become followers of Christ, thousands have been directly discipled, and thousands of leaders have been trained and released into ministry.
